To nurture a culture of innovation, the PAF embarked its first innovation challenge chaired by the Vice Commander, PAF last  4th Quarter 2020. The PAF Innovation challenge has two categories Individual and Unit, and six sub-categories Individual Product Innovation, Individual Process innovation, Individual Service Innovation, Unit Product Innovation, Unit Process Innovation, and Unit Service Innovation. 

The winners are the following:

The Philippine Air Force conducted a Joint Change of Chief of Office Ceremony for the Office of the Air Force Inspector General; Chief of Air Staff; Vice Commander, PAF; and Retirement Ceremony for MGEN JOSELITO B RAMOS PAF at PAF Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, CJVAB in Pasay City on December 29, 2020 with the Commanding General, PAF LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF as the Presiding Officer. 

The Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao headed by its Wing Commander, COL JEFFREY M VILELA PAF (GSC) held the 3rd Founding Anniversary Celebration at the Multi-purpose Hangar, Headquarters TOW EastMin, Davao Air Station, Brgy Sasa, Davao City on December 8, 2020, with the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

As part of his Pre-Christmas Visit, MGEN SIMEON Z FELIX JR PAF, the Commander, Air Mobility Command, visited the Men and Women of the AMC Subordinate Units in Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on 07 December 2020.

The Air Mobility Command, Philippine Air Force, under the command of MGEN SIMEON Z FELIX JR PAF, facilitated the medical air evacuation of a one (1) month old baby suffering from Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).

According to the mother, Ms Zyri Lael Nuesca, a resident of Brgy Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City, her baby needs to be transferred to the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City to undergo an immediate heart operation for her to survive.

The Tactical Operations Wing Southern Luzon headed by COLONEL LLEWILLYN S BANAAG PAF (GSC), Wing Commander, TOWSOL successfully celebrated its 3rd Founding Anniversary on December 04, 2020, with the theme "TOWSOL @ 3: Taking the LEAD and Soaring as ONE towards a Capable and Credible Air Force Component in Southern Luzon", with Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force MGEN JOSELITO B RAMOS PAF as the Guest of Honor. The momentous event was also graced by the Commander, Southern Luzon Command LTGEN ANTONIO G PARLADE JR PA and Rev.

Spreading the spirit and essence of the Christmas season, the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF, visited the Tactical Operations Wing West and PAF deployed forces in the Wescom JAO on the occasion of the CG PAF’s pre-Christmas activities.

Highlights of the visit were the blessing of the SAR hangar and the Typhoon Shelter Hangars for Rotary and Fixed Wing Aircraft, presentation of awards to deserving personnel, Christmas raffle draw, and gift-giving to dependents and personnel of the Wing.

BASA AIR BASE, FLORIDABLANCA, PAMPANGA- The Philippine Air Force (PAF) conferred awards to the personnel of units stationed at Basa Air Base (BAB), Floridablanca, Pampanga for various accomplishments from 2019 until the present.

The Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF, personally conferred the awards to said Airmen as part of the Christmas Visit of CG, PAF to BAB. For personnel of the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing (355th AEW), the following awards were conferred:

The Philippine Air Force conducted a Blessing Ceremony of PAF Aviation Engineering Equipment (PAFAEE) in Basa Air Base, Pampanga on December 2, 2020 with the Commanding General, PAF LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF as the Guest of Honor.

A total of 57 equipment composed of nine (9) trucks; four (4) hydrostatic bulldozers; one (1) compact backhoe loader; six (6) equipment haulers; eight (8) self-loading mixers; 12 excavators; and, 17 road rollers were blessed and will be utilized for all pavement projects of the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing (AEW).
