The Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao headed by its Wing Commander, COL JEFFREY M VILELA PAF (GSC) held the 3rd Founding Anniversary Celebration at the Multi-purpose Hangar, Headquarters TOW EastMin, Davao Air Station, Brgy Sasa, Davao City on December 8, 2020, with the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “TOWEASTMIN @3: A Capable and Reliable Tactical Operations Wing Leading and Soaring as One towards Peace and Resilient Development in Eastern Mindanao.” COL VILELA PAF (GSC) welcomed the arrival of LTGEN PAREDES PAF and party at Old Ramp, Davao Air Station together with COL JESUS NELSON B MORALES PAF (GSC) the Deputy Wing Commander, COL PEDRO S AGAPITO PAF (GSC) the Director for Operations and the Group Commander of Tactical Operations Group 11 LTC FLORANTE S BATERINA PAF (GSC).
The activity was also streamed thru Virtual Teleconference which was attended by the personnel of TOG 10, TOG 11, TOW EastMin, and its stakeholders to minimize overcrowding at the venue in compliance with the necessary health protocols for COVID-19. During COL VILELA’s speech, he enumerated all the unit’s outstanding performance in accomplishing its mandated mission for the year 2020. He also highlighted the Wing’s efforts in addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and how its personnel step up to the challenge and proved their dedication to the service. Part of the activity was the recognition of all the Wing’s stakeholders in grateful appreciation for their unwavering support.
TOW EastMin also expressed its appreciation to its subordinate units and outstanding personnel for their contributions to the unit’s mission accomplishment for the year 2020 by presenting them the awards they fully deserved:

The Commanding General, Philippine Air Force expressed his gratitude and full support to the Wing’s admirable achievements for the PAF and its future endeavors. He assured the TOW EastMin personnel that all their hardships and sacrifices for serving the people especially these trying times will not be taken for granted instead will be acknowledged.
Part of the activity was the Traditional Christmas Visit of the CG, PAF in which LTGEN PAREDES PAF took time to greet the personnel of TOW EastMin a Merry Christmas. He delighted them by presenting the Command’s new slogan, the “4Ps+1” which represents: Purpose, Praise, Presents, Pursue, and Prayer that will encourage all airmen to be inspired, goal-oriented, always be humble, and to always pray. He also presented gifts to the TOW EastMin personnel and their dependents that show the essence of Christmas which is the spirit of giving.
