LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, graced the celebration of the 15th Strike Wing

A1C Kent Kelly S Buhian PAF, an Air Force personnel, exemplifying the true spirit of service, sprang into action and came to the aid of an unattended bleeding hit-and-run victim in Buhangin, Davao City, on November 23, 2022.

Despite being on his way home from duty, A1C Buhian didn't hesitate to stop and give help to the victim who was ignored by other passers by. He swiftly administered first aid, using his own uniform to effectively control the bleeding of the man's wound.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, was among the recipients of a special award from the Chaplain Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CHS, AFP) during its 86th Founding Anniversary held at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on November 23, 2023.

LTGEN PARREÑO received the Stakeholder of the Year Award for his outstanding leadership and dedicated support in fostering an environment conducive to spiritual and morale upliftment, significantly improving the welfare and resilience of PAF personnel.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, along with heads of Air Forces from 22 countries, joined the Pacific Air Chief Symposium (PACS) 2023, which took place from November 13-17, 2023, at the Headquarters Pacific Air Forces in Hawaii.

Three hospitals and one infirmary of the Philippine Air Force received various medical equipment and supplies worth Php1,000,000.00 from the Composite Wing Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (CWSLAI).

On November 21, 2023, CWSLAI's members of the board headed by the chairman, COL LEONILO R LESAVA PAF (Ret), visited the PAF Headquarters to turn over the donated medical items.

In a significant step towards reinforcing bilateral relations, SENIOR COLONEL VU HONG DIEP, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Viet Nam Air Defense Air Force (VN ADAF), paid a courtesy call to the Chief of Air Staff, MAJOR GENERAL FABIAN M PEDREGOSA PAF at the Headquarters Philippine Air Force on November 21, 2023.

The Philippine Air Force (PAF), through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Education and Training, A-8, commenced the five-day Leadership in Project Management for Development (LPMD) Program participated in by 50 PAF Officers at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City on November 20, 2023.

The Asia Pacific Director of France's Defense Armament Directorate, BGen Caroline Salahun, rendered a courtesy call to the Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force, MGen Ramon J Guiang PAF, on November 9, 2023, at the PAF Headquarters, Pasay City.

BGen Salahun was accompanied by Col Michel Midon, Deputy Defense Attache of France, and Ms Claudia Amarah-Desh, Desk Officer.

The courtesy call was made to discuss the PAF's modernization program, among others.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, along with the Executive Committee members and the Air Force Sergeant Major, paid a visit to Antonio Bautista Air Base in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on November 7, 2023, as part of his Pre-Christmas visit to all PAF bases.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), LtGen Stephen P Parreño PAF, commended several PAF Personnel for their outstanding achievements and performance during a ceremony on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

To mark the completion of the Basa Air Base Runway rehabilitation, the Philippines and the United States held a Dedication Ceremony on November 6, 2023, in Floridablanca, Pampanga.

The ceremony was led by Sec Gilberto C Teodoro Jr, Department of National Defense, and Mr Robert Y Ewing, US Deputy Chief of Mission to the Philippines. 

On October 27, 2023, the Philippine Air Force led by the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF along with BGEN PABLO RUSTRIA JR PAF, Acting Commander, Air Installation Base Development Command (P); BGEN REYNOLD R RUECA PAF, Wing Commander, 410th Maintenance Wing and party visited Lufthansa Teknik Philippines (LTP) situated inside Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City. 

The PAF Officers were received by the President and CEO, Mr. Elmar Lutter and other officials from the Lufthansa Teknik Philippines. 

The Philippine Air Force held the Relinquishment of Chief of Office of the Chief Surgeon, Air Force and Retirement Ceremony of COL MARIA SOCORRO E POSADAS MC (GSC) at the Agunod Hall, CJVAB, Pasay City on October 26, 2023, with the Chief of Air Staff, MGEN FABIAN M PEDREGOSA PAF, as the Presiding Officer.

Ms. Charito M. Montaño, the Director for Civilian Affairs of the Philippine Air Force, visited the Commanding General, PAF, Lieutenant General Stephen P. Parreño PAF, on October 25, 2023, at the Staff Lounge, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City to bid him farewell as she retires.

The CG, PAF expressed his sincere gratitude to Ms. Montaño for her dedication and service rendered to the organization, particularly in the administration and management of the PAF civilian workforce.

COL I GUSTI PUTU SETIA DARMA, Senior Staff Officer II, Staff of Operation, accompanied by six (6) other members of the Indonesian Air Force (IDAF), paid a courtesy call to the Chief of Air Staff, MGEN FABIAN M PEDREGOSA PAF at the Headquarters Philippine Air Force on October 25, 2023.
