PAF CONDUCTS THE MOA SIGNING BETWEEN THE AFP-PAF AND AUFMCI

TOWSOL CONDUCTS THE PAF AIR POWER CAPABILITY FORUM

In our bid to improve our Command and Control capability and further enhance the planning capacity in the employment of different PAF aircraft and system in Southern Luzon, TOWSOL conducted the PAF Air Power Capability Forum at Headquarters, Joint Task Force “BICOLANDIA” (JTFB), at Camp Elias Angeles, Pili, Camarines Sur on November 11, 2019.
 
Present at the activity were BGEN PEALE JON L BONDOC AFP, Deputy Commander, JTFB as the Guest of Honor; COL LLEWILLYN S BANAAG PAF (GSC), Acting Wing Commander, TOWSOL; and, LTC MELVIN A BANUA PAF (GSC), Group Commander, TOG 5. 

TACTICAL OPERATIONS COMMAND CONDUCTS MONTHLY SAFETY MEETING

Tactical Operations Command through its Command Safety Office conducted the Monthly Safety Meeting at EAAB Grandstand on 15 November 2019. The activity was attended by the Officers and Enlisted Personnel, PAF stationed at EAAB, Grandstand with COL JESUS NELSON B MORALES PAF (GSC) Chief of Command Staff, TOC.

CHANGE OF CHIEF OF OFFICE CEREMONY OF OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT CHIEF OF AIR STAFF FOR CMO, A-7 HELD

The Philippine Air Force held the Change of Chief of Office Ceremony of Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Civil Military Operations, A-7 at the New Hall of Flags, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on November 14, 2019.

The ceremony was presided by the Chief of Air Staff MGEN GLICERIO G PERALTA AFP. 

The Outgoing Chief of Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Civil Military Operations, COL GERARDO M ZAMUDIO JR PAF (MNSA) relegated his responsibilities to COL GERALD L NALDOZA PAF (GSC).

PAF DONS NEWLY PROMOTED GENERALS AND SENIOR OFFICERS

The Philippine Air Force welcomed the newly promoted PAF Generals and Senior Officers in a Donning of Ranks Ceremony held at the New Hall of Flags, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base on November 14, 2019.

Six (6) General and Senior Officers of the PAF were donned to the ranks of MAJOR GENERAL and BRIGADIER GENERAL with the Vice Commander, PAF MGEN PELAGIO R VALENZUELA AFP as Presiding Officer. 

PAF WELCOMES NEWLY-ACQUIRED C-295M FROM SPAIN

The C-295M #177 was formally accepted and turned over to the Philippine Air Force and was subsequently blessed on November 11, 2019, at the Haribon Hangar, Clark Air Base, Air Force City, Mabalacat, Pampanga with the Secretary of National Defense, DELFIN N LORENZANA, as Guest of Honor.
 
The C-295M aircraft was acquired by the Department of National Defense from Spain’s Airbus Defense and Space (ADS) as part of the Command and Control Fixed-Wing Turbo Prop Acquisition (C2FWTPA) Project under the Revised AFP Modernization Program.
 

ROYAL MALAYSIAN AIR FORCE VISITS THE PHILIPPINES

IN PHOTOS: The Philippines Air Force (PAF) hosted the Junior Officers Exchange Visit Program (SJOEVP) in Manila, Philippines from November 5-8, 2019 while the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) hosted the Senior Officers Exchange Visit Program in Malaysia from November 5-10, 2019. 

The MALPHI SJOEVP is an engagement between the two (2) Air Forces through exposure to respective Air Forces’ operations and observation of each country’s vast heritage and culture.  It aims to further enhance the existing bilateral relations between the PAF and the RMAF. 

29TH YEAR OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL IN THE AFP

The Philippine Air Force simultaneously commemorated the 29th Year of the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Military Personnel in the AFP on 28 October 2019 during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in the different PAF Bases. The renewal of the pledge of allegiance to the AFP Code of Conduct and the message of the Chief of Staff, AFP were read by the most senior Officer present, to wit:

MGEN BACLAYON BIDS FAREWELL TO THE HELI-LIFTERS

MGEN ALEJANDRO A BACLAYON AFP, Commander, Air Mobility Command, paid a farewell visit last 04 November 2019 to the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing prior to his would-be retirement from the military service. A “talk-to-men” was conducted inside the Base Operations, BGBNEAB, Lapu-Lapu City, where he shared his farewell message to all the men and women of the 205THW.

PAF PARTICIPATES DURING THE JUNIOR ENLISTED LEADERSHIP FORUM IN CANADA

The Philippine Air Force participated during the Junior Enlisted Leadership Forum (JELF) 2019 held at 17th Wing, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on October 21-25, 2019. The activity was hosted by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), United States Air Force (USAF) and Pacific Air Force (PCAF). Sgt Isaias B Mauricio II PAF and Sgt Donalyn B Borela PAF participated during the said activity along with the other 7 (seven) countries.

PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE CONTINUOUS SUPPORT TO THE EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN MINDANAO

The PAF is working round the clock in providing air transportation of relief goods and other essential items to thousands of families affected by a series of earthquakes in Central and Eastern Mindanao.

An AW109 immediately conducted Rapid Damage Assessment & Needs Analysis (RDANA) over Tulunan, Cotabato to assess the extent of the damage of the earthquake on 30 October 2019. 

PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE AIRLIFTS RELIEF GOODS AND SUPPLIES TO MINDANAO

A PAF C130 aircraft with tail #5011 airlifted relief goods for the earthquake-affected residents affected by the 6.6 magnitude quake that hit Central Mindanao, Tuesday morning, 29 October 2019.
 
A total of 500 family food packs, 500 sleeping kits, 500 laminating sacks, and 50 family tents from the Department of Social Welfare and Development were airlifted from Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City to Tambler, General Santos City on 30 October 2019.
