As part of the continuous effort to uplift the morale among troops this yuletide season, Philippine Air Force Commanding General, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, visited Col Ernesto Ravina Air Base in Capas, Tarlac, on December 5, 2023.
At 8:05AM, on December 5, 2023, the Philippine Air Force's Sokol helicopter, dedicated for the search and rescue efforts for the missing Piper Plane RPC 1234, has been able to locate the missing aircraft in the vicinity of Brgy Casala, San Mariano, Isabela. While the Sokol could not land nor come close due to the strong winds and growing fog in the mountainous site, the aircrew were able to relay the exact location to ground forces for the continuous search on foot towards the aircraft's exact location.
The Philippine Air Force concluded the third and last day of the Top-Level Media Engagement Seminar for Commanders at the Headquarters in Pasay City on December 4, 2023.
This activity was organized by the Air Force Public Affairs Office and was attended by the top brass commanders of the PAF. It aims to enhance their skills and techniques in effectively communicating with the media to include managing crisis communication.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, held a pre-Christmas visit to Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on December 01, 2023.
As he addressed the PAF personnel of units based in CJVAB, the CG, PAF expressed his gratitude for their commitment to service, unyielding dedication to mission, and relentless pursuit of excellence that have led the PAF to many successes throughout the year. Also, present among the audience were members of the Philippine Air Force Officers Ladies Club and Enlisted Personnel Ladies Club.
The Philippine Air Force (PAF) held its Annual Safety Family Conference and Recognition Ceremony for PAF personnel from various units at the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on November 29, 2023.
The conference aimed to instill an excellent safety culture among PAF personnel, fostering closer relationships and collective support among unit safety officers and specialists.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, was among the recipients of a special award from the Chaplain Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CHS, AFP) during its 86th Founding Anniversary held at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on November 23, 2023.
LTGEN PARREÑO received the Stakeholder of the Year Award for his outstanding leadership and dedicated support in fostering an environment conducive to spiritual and morale upliftment, significantly improving the welfare and resilience of PAF personnel.
A1C Kent Kelly S Buhian PAF, an Air Force personnel, exemplifying the true spirit of service, sprang into action and came to the aid of an unattended bleeding hit-and-run victim in Buhangin, Davao City, on November 23, 2022.
Despite being on his way home from duty, A1C Buhian didn't hesitate to stop and give help to the victim who was ignored by other passers by. He swiftly administered first aid, using his own uniform to effectively control the bleeding of the man's wound.
Three hospitals and one infirmary of the Philippine Air Force received various medical equipment and supplies worth Php1,000,000.00 from the Composite Wing Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (CWSLAI).
On November 21, 2023, CWSLAI's members of the board headed by the chairman, COL LEONILO R LESAVA PAF (Ret), visited the PAF Headquarters to turn over the donated medical items.

The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, along with the Executive Committee members and the Air Force Sergeant Major, paid a visit to Antonio Bautista Air Base in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on November 7, 2023, as part of his Pre-Christmas visit to all PAF bases.
To mark the completion of the Basa Air Base Runway rehabilitation, the Philippines and the United States held a Dedication Ceremony on November 6, 2023, in Floridablanca, Pampanga.
The ceremony was led by Sec Gilberto C Teodoro Jr, Department of National Defense, and Mr Robert Y Ewing, US Deputy Chief of Mission to the Philippines.
