The Air Force Reserve Command celebrated its 39th Founding Anniversary on December 22, 2018 at Challengers’ Field, Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City in Pampanga with the theme AFRC@39: “Achieving excellence in performing, reforming, and transforming the PAF Reserve Force as the nation’s bearer of hope”. The Commanding General, Philippine Air Force LTGEN ROZZANO D BRIGUEZ AFP, was the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Highlighted during the anniversary was the presentation of awards to the following outstanding personnel, reservist and stakeholders of AFRC:

While most of us are out celebrating the Holiday season with our family and friends, the Philippine Air Force Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Teams, led by the Tactical Operations Group 5, Rescue Operations were conducted to over 70 flood victims at San Miguel, Nabua, Camarines Sur on December 29-30 2018.

The 710th Special Operations Wing together with the Little Heroes Charity headed by Ms. Amy N Tañedo, Mr. John Visser and family facilitated a feeding activity to a total of 80 Aeta children and seven (7) parents from Brgy Sta Juliana and Brgy Maruglo on December 20, 2018, at McDonald's, Capas, Tarlac.

The men and women of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) welcomed Lieutenant General Rozzano D Briguez AFP as its new Commanding General replacing Lieutenant General Galileo Gerard R Kintanar Jr AFP during the Change of Command Ceremony last December 21, 2018, at the PAF Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, with the Commander-in-Chief, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, as presiding officer.

The Tactical Operation Command conducted Flight Plan Workshop on December 3 to 5, 2018 at O’ Club, Clark Air Base, Air Force City, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The TOC Flight Plan Workshop aimed to develop the Strategy Map, Identify Game Changer and Synchronize Strike and Special Operations Flight Plan in anticipation for the creation of the Air Combat Command in the PAF Organization.

The Workshop was attended by TOC delegates and representatives from OA-3, OA-5, AFSMO, 710th SPOW, 15th SW and 300th AISW presenting their respective Unit flight plan.

Celebrating the most wonderful time of the year, it is without a doubt a season to be jolly as the Philippine Air Force officially launched the much awaited ‘Simultaneous Christmas Tree Lighting’’ on December 03, 2018 held at Antonio Bautista Air Base, Puerto Princesa, Palawan with the Commanding General, PAF Lieutenant General Galileo Gerard R Kintanar AFP.

The annual event is one way of uplifting the Christmas spirit to all the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian employees of the PAF together with their dependents.

Tactical Operations Wing West (TOWWEST) of the Philippine Air Force successfully conducted the Air Power Forum in the region of Palawan at VJR Hall, Provincial Capitol, Palawan on November 29, 2018 with the theme “Engaging Proponents in Understanding the Essence of Air Power in Security and Development of the Western Frontier”.
