To formalize the affiliation of the Puerto Princesa City Water District, the Philippine Air Force through the Office of the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, A-9 conducted a MOA signing between the command and the PPCWD with the Commanding General, PAF LTGEN GALILEO GERARD R KINTANAR JR AFP and Mr Antonio Jesus R Rosamanta, the General Manager of PPCWD on May 23, 2018 at the Hall of Flags, HPAF Building, CJVAB, Pasay City.

Selected officers from 220th Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force led by its Wing Commander, BGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO AFP gathered for the last time as they finally wrap up this year's 3-year Capability Development Planning Workshop from May 16 to 17, 2018. The activity was attended by some officers from HPAF, Air Power Institute and AMC units that acted as panelists during the Project Management Team presentations and seminar discussions.

To give honor and respect to the late former Senate President Edgardo Angara, the Philippine Air Force accorded a Send-off Ceremony to his remains at the Base Operations, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on May 19, 2018. His remains were ferried to Baler, Aurora via C-295 Aircraft.

Former Senator Angara has passed away due to an apparent heart attack confirmed by his son Sen. Sonny Angara on his Twitter account last May 13, (Sunday).

The Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 5 participated in the fun run activity dubbed as "Run for the Navy3" last May 19, 2018 in connection with the celebration of the 120th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Navy.

The said activity was participated by both uniformed and civilian agencies localized in Albay.

The Philippine Air Force 710th Special Operations Wing spearheaded the Joint Closing and Opening Ceremony of Small Unit Tactics Training (SUTT) Class 31-18 "Talagwis" and Class 32-18 "Siklab" last May 07, 2018 with the Wing Commander 710th SPOW Col Edward L Libago PAF (GSC), as Guest of Honor at the 710th SPOW Parade Ground, Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base, Crow Valley Military Reservation, Capas, Tarlac.

The Philippine Air Force successfully conducted the 4-day Search and Rescue Challenge from May 22-25 2018 at Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Basa Air Base, Floridablanca and at Subic, Zambales. MGEN ROMEO N DELA CRUZ, Commander, Air Logistics Command officially opened the competition wherein ten (10) Disaster Response Tasked Units (DRTUs) from nine (9) major PAF Bases and 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing exercised and assessed their preparedness to carry out search and rescue operations in various scenarios and obstacles.

The Tactical Operations Group 3, lead by its Group Commander, LTC PERFECTO R MAGALONG JR PAF (GSC) participates the All Filipino Philippine Rise 2018 on May15, 2018 with the Commander-in-Chief, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as the guest of honor and speaker. The Group Commander, TOG3 acted as the Over-all Air Mission Commander during the said event.

The Tactical Operations Command (TOC) and Tactical Operations Wing Western Mindanao (TOW WESTMIN) jointly hosted the Marawi Air Campaign Commemoration (MACC) on May 25, 2018 at the EAAB, Grandstand, Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City to honor the gallant men of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) who helped in the resolution of the Marawi Crisis.
