In line with the PAF Spiritual Resilience Program, the Philippine Air Force through the Office of the Chief Air Chaplain (OCAC) held a PAF-Wide Simultaneous Advent Recollection with the theme: "Journeying in Faith with Hope and Joyful Expectations in the Midst of Challenges in this Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) World” on December 12, 2022 at Agunod Hall, CJVAB, Pasay City.

The Philippine Air Force held the "Night with the Air Chiefs 2022" with LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR,  Commanding General, PAF, and his wife, Mrs Mary Grace P. Canlas as hosts, on November 26, 2022 in Pasay City. The said activity brought together the former Commanding Generals of the Philippine Air Force for a night of fellowship and reconnection. Also present were the widows of some former Air Chiefs.            

On November 24, 2022, MGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA PAF relinquished his position as Vice Commander, PAF (VC, PAF) which he held since December 2021 until his recent designation as the Vice Chief of Staff, AFP (VCSAFP) effective November 15, 2022.

The Relinquishment Ceremony was presided by the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF, who extended his gratitude towards the outgoing VC, PAF, while expressing confidence in his successor.

The Philippine Air Force Chaplain Officers headed by the Assistant Chief Air Chaplain, LTC ARNOLD T VERGARA CHS (GSC) rendered a Courtesy Call to LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF, Commanding General, Philippine Air Force on November 23, 2022 at the Hall of Flags, CJVAB, Pasay City.

The courtesy call was in connection with the 85th Chaplain Service, AFP Founding Anniversary.

Vietnam National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue arrived at the Maharlika Hall, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on November 23, 2022 for his 3-day visit to the Philippines. Foyer Honors was accorded by the Philippine Air Force with BGEN VINCENT B INCOGNITO PAF as the Military Host.

LOOK | AFP Joint Exercise "DAGITPA" 2022 closes after two-weeks of joint exercises among the units of the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and the Philippine Air Force.

In the said exercises, the PAF showcased its capabilities and inter-operability with the other Major Services utilizing two (2) FA-50PH Fighter Jets, two (2) A-29B Super Tucano Attack Aircraft, two (2) S-70i Black Hawk Helicopters, and one (1) Hermes 900 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to perform Air Defense Operations, Counter-Air Operations, and other activities for Counter-Terrorism Operations.

PAF'S two (2) S-70i Blackhawk helicopters provided tactical airlift support as the Philippine Army (PA) personnel perform the simulation of military free fall during the FTX 5- Joint Urban Warfare, Counter Terrorism, and Airborne Operations on November 16, 2022 at Punta Baja Rizal, Palawan.

Part of this exercise featured the PAF’s A29B Super Tucano as they provided Aerial cover and fire power for the ground and sea forces.

LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF, Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, graced the blessing of Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base Gate 1 on November 16, 2022. The said gate underwent face-lifting which is part of the PAF's efforts to enhance its facilities.  

Part of the said activity are the ribbon cutting, unveiling of marker and tossing of coins which were witnessed by the officers, enlisted personnel and other guests.

The 2022 4th Quarter Command Conference of the Philippine Air Force held from November 14 to 15, through a hybrid Video Teleconferencing and Face-to-Face meeting setup, at the Main ballroom, Officers Club, Mabalacat City, Pampanga was successfully conducted highlighting the last quarter's accomplishments of the different PAF Offices and Units, as well as the discussion of issues and future plans of the command.
The 2-day conference was led by the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR together with the Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA PAF.

COL GONZALES is a proud member of Class 1951A of the PAF Flying School. Also, he is known as a distinguished aviator in both the military and civilian sectors.

In the afternoon of November 08, 2022 the Philippine Air Force successfully held the formal Acceptance, Turn-over, and Blessing of the two (2) newly arrived Ground Based Air Defense System (GBADS) Batteries and one (1) C-295 Medium Lift Aircraft, with President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. as the Guest of Honor, at Base Ramp, Basa Air Base, Floridablanca, Pampanga.
