The Philippine Air Force held the "Night with the Air Chiefs 2022" with LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR, Commanding General, PAF, and his wife, Mrs Mary Grace P. Canlas as hosts, on November 26, 2022 in Pasay City. The said activity brought together the former Commanding Generals of the Philippine Air Force for a night of fellowship and reconnection. Also present were the widows of some former Air Chiefs.
The event kicked off with a nostalgic tour as the former Air Chiefs and their spouses were brought around the colorful and brightly lighted streets of Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, and made stops at the Commanding General's Quarters and other significant spots within the base.
Over dinner, they reminisced the old days with a tribute video featuring the significant contributions of the long line of Commanding Generals throughout the more than seven decades of the existence of the Philippine Air Force. Notably, other General Officers assigned in HPAF with their spouses were also present to entertain, reconnect and give tribute to the former Air Chiefs and their wives.
It was truly a nostalgic and fun night of fellowship that further strengthened the bond of the Air Chiefs who ,with their sterling leadership, have made the Philippine Air Force into the strong , credible, and agile force it has become today.
