The Presidential Assistant on Maritime Concerns (PAMC), Secretary Andres C Centino held an executive session with the Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN RAMON J GUIANG PAF on January 17, 2024, at the Staff Lounge, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
The session explored potential areas of mutual interest and cooperation between two parties. Further, Secretary Centino, also sought to harness the capabilities of the PAF to enhance the nation's maritime security.
As part of the visit, the Philippine Air Defense Control Center, Air Defense Command gave a briefing on PAF Integrated Air Defense Systems and Air Domain Awareness to Sec Centino.
The said visit not only highlighted the importance of inter-agency cooperation but also underscored the commitment of the government to address maritime challenges effectively by leveraging the collective strengths of key agencies.
