On September 26, 2023, the Philippine Air Force through the Office of the Air Force Gender and Development, held PAF GAD Assembly 2023 with MGEN RAMON J GUIANG PAF, Vice Commander, PAF, as the Guest of Honor.
The activity, which was held at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, was attended by the members and chairpersons of the PAF Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) and PAF Unit’s GAD Focal Point Committee (GFPC) among others.
The assembly featured a lecture on Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) conducted by Mr. John Rey P. Catalan, Program Manager on Women, Peace and Security, OPAPRU.

The PAF GAD Assembly 2023 was a successful event that highlighted the importance of gender mainstreaming in the Philippine Air Force. This is also a way of acknowledging the contributions of GAD advocates who have worked tirelessly to promote gender equality in the PAF.
