The Philippine Air Force held a flag-raising ceremony on April 8, 2024, in commemoration of the Filipino Veterans Week and the Day of Valor at the New Grandstand, CJVAB, Pasay City.
The Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF, presided over the ceremony. He reminded all personnel of the unwavering courage and selfless devotion of Filipino heroes, who fought for the freedom that the PAF is now entrusted to uphold.
The CGPAF also recognized several PAF personnel, including the awardees of the OWLENS 2024, academic, and sports achievers. He also extended his gratitude to all the PAF personnel for achieving an exceptional +85 Net Trust rating and +84 Net Satisfaction rating for the 4th quarter of 2023, based on the Tugon ng Masa survey conducted by OCTA Research.
