PAF JOINS THE NATION IN COMMEMORATION OF THE NATIONAL HEROES’ DAY

In commemoration of the National Heroes Day, the Philippine Air Force joined the Flag Raising and Wreath Laying Ceremony, led by the Commander-in-Chief, President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on August 29, 2022.

The CG, PAF, Lt. Gen. Connor Anthony D. Canlas Sr was Co-Host to CSAFP during the arrival and departure honors for the President. Moreover, the PAF Honor and Escort Ceremonial Group and PAF marching band joined the honor elements of the other major services for the arrival and departure honors.

PAF WELCOMES THE NEW CHIEF, AIR FORCE DENTAL SERVICE

The Philippine Air Force conducted the Change of Chief of Office Ceremony for the Air Force Dental Service (AFDS) at the Agunod Hall, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on August 31, 2022 with the Acting Chief of Air Staff, MGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF as the presiding officer.

The outgoing Chief, AFDS, COL JONES M MENDOZA DS (GSC) PAF relinquished his duties and responsibilities to COL ISIDRO ALEX CAJUCOM URRIQUIA DS (MNSA) PAF who was the former Deputy Chief, Dental Service, AFP.

PAF HOLDS END OF MOURNING CEREMONY IHO PFVR.

The Philippine Air Force participated in the simultaneous End of Military Mourning Ceremony in honor of our former Commander-In-Chief and President Fidel V Ramos on 29 August 2022 at Headquarters Philippine Air Force Quadrangle, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City. The Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA PAF, lead the ceremony attended by General officers, HPAF Staff, Unit Commanders, other Officers and Enlisted personnel from CJVAB units.

​​PAF CONCLUDED 3RD QUARTER COMMAND CONFERENCE 2022

The Philippine Air Force concluded the Command Conference for the 3rd quarter of 2022 on August 24-25, 2022 through Video Teleconference and Face-to-Face meeting at Aureo Hotel, San Fernando, La Union.

The 2-day conference was led by the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR together with the Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA.

PAF Unit Commanders and HPAF Staff convene quarterly to monitor the progress and accomplishments of the PAF, as well as discuss issues and future plans of the command.

​PAF'S BLACKHAWK TRANSPORTED RELIEF GOODS TO TS FLORITA VICTIMS

The Philippine Air Force through the Tactical Operations Group 2 (TOG 2) conducted relief operations on August 25, 2022 at Maconacon, Isabela.

Carrying 933.8 kilograms of relief goods consisting of rice, sardines, noodles and 447.8 kilograms of other supplies and commodities, the PAF utilized its S-70i Blackhawk Utility Helicopter to deliver assistance to the Filipinos affected by the Tropical Storm Florita.

Also ferried during the said helicopter relief mission were 6 civilian personnel, and 28 military personnel who helped in the delivery of goods.

INTELLIGENCE SERVICE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES PAID COURTESY CALL TO CG, PAF

The Chief of Intelligence Service Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP), BGEN MARCELIANO V TEOFILO PA paid a courtesy call to the Commanding General of Philippine Air Force, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF on August 22, 2022 at Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

Foyer Honors was accorded to BGEN TEOFILO with the Wing Commander of 300th Air Intelligence and Security Wing (AISW) COL EDGAR C TORRES PAF (GSC) as the Military Host.

PAF NIGHTINGALES RECOGNIZED BY DAISY FOUNDATION

The Philippine Air Force launched the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses on August 9, 2022 at the Villamor Air Base, Pasay City with the Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA as the Guest of Honor.

The Daisy Foundation aims to honor and express gratitude to nurses all over the world, in line with this, four of our PAF Nightingales were awarded Daisy award for their extraordinary dedication in providing compassionate and selfless nursing care to the Filipinos.

The PAF would like to extend appreciation to all the PAF nurses.

PAF HELPS IN ABRA RELIEF OPERATIONS

With more than 100-K families affected and over P1-B worth of infrastructure damaged after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck many parts of Northern Luzon on July 27, 2022, the Philippine Air Force has been relentless in delivering Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) following the conduct of a Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA).
