The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LT GEN EDGAR R FALLORINA AFP rendered a courtesy call to the Commanding General of the Philippine Army, LT GEN EDUARDO M AÑO AFP on April 29, 2016 at General Headquarters, Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.

CG,PAF was accorded with a full military honors with MGEN ELMER C PABALE AFP as the military host, upon his at arrival at Headquarters, Philippine Army.

After the call, LT GEN AÑO conferred the Kagitingan Badge to CG,PAF.

14 newly commissioned 2nd Lieutenants paid a courtesy call to the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, Lt Gen Edgar R Fallorina AFP on April 29, 2016 at the Hall of Flags, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

The Philippine Air Force in cooperation with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) conducted a half day Information Drive/Lecture on the Republic Act No. 8491 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations known as the “Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines”, to almost 71 participants composed of PAF Unit’s operations, protocol and public information/historical officers, last April 28, 2016 at PAF Aerospace Museum in Colonel Jesus, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

A Testimonial Parade and Review was accorded in honor of the 46th Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Gen Hernando DCA Iriiberri AFP in a Change of Command and Retirement Ceremony held at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City on April 22, 2016 with His Excellency President Benigno Simeon Aquino III as the Guest of Honor.

Gen Iriberri bowed out of service reaching his mandatory age of 56. He relinquished his post to Vice Chief of Staff Lt Gen Glorioso Miranda AFP as the new Acting CS,AFP.

The Philippine Air Force Flying School held its 47th Alumni Homecoming dubbed as “Balik Fernando 2016” with a theme “PAFFSAAI @ 47: One Air Force Family for the Filipino People, United towards greater peace and security” today, April 23, 2016 at Air Education and Training Command, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.

About 500 members composed of active and retired military officers of the PAF Flying School Alumni Association Incorporated from Class 1966 up to present attended the celebration.
