It was a successful MOA signing between the Philippine Air Force (PAF) and Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) held at the Hall of Flags, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on April 3, 2019.

The MOA signing was headed by LTGEN ROZANNO D BRIGUEZ AFP, Commanding General, PAF and Mr Vicente B Malano, Ph.D., MNSA, Administrator of PAGASA. The MOA was all about attaching weather instrument from PAGASA to PAFs aircraft which is the Cloud, Water Inertial Probe (CWIP).

The CWIP can measure temperature, turbulent fluxes and liquid water content that could provide information on the turbulence intensity that is being encountered by the aircraft. In this way PAF and PAGASA will team up in serving the Filipino people better and easier.
