PAF CONTINUOUS EFFORTS IN BRINGING HOPE TO FILIPINOS

The Philippine Air Force continuously transports relief goods and other equipment to several areas stricken by Typhoon Odette.

As of today, the PAF transported a total of 2,275 tons of relief goods such as rice, water, canned goods, and toiletries, as well as generator sets and water tanks.

In addition, the PAF ferried a 99 Locally Stranded Individuals from Siargao to Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on December 28, 2021. 

PAF AIR ASSETS PERFORM CHRISTMAS DROP

Several air assets of the Philippine Air Force transported relief goods to Siargao, Surigao, Bohol and Mactan, Cebu from Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021.

The PAF C-295, Fokker F27, and NC212i aircraft were utilized to bring a total of 246 sacks of rice, 5 boxes of sardines, and 90 boxes of water which will be distributed to those affected by the Typhoon Odette. 

2 S70i Blackhawks delivered relief goods, 60 sacks of rice and 30 sacks of assorted goods and medicine to Cagayancillo Island, Palawan. 

PAF AIR ASSETS BRING MORE RELIEF GOODS FOR TYPHOON ODETTE VICTIMS; TRANSPORTS LOCALLY STRANDED INDIVIDUALS

The Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft with tail number 5011 transported relief goods from Villamor Air Base, Pasay City to Siargao, Surigao, and Mactan, Cebu on December 22, 2021. 

As of today, a total of 88,419 lbs of relief goods including tents; gallons of water; sacks of rice; toiletries; used clothes; canned goods; bottled water; and generator sets were transported to various areas affected by Typhoon Odette.

Moreover, the PAF transported a total of 231 Locally Stranded Individuals from Siargao to Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on 21 and 22 December. 

PAF C-130 FLIES RELIEF GOODS AND MATERIALS FOR TYPHOON ODETTE VICTIMS

The Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft with tail number 5011 transported relief goods from Villamor Air Base, Pasay City to Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Air Base in Cebu on December 19, 2021. 

Two sorties were flown which transported a total of 33,797lbs of relief goods including tents; gallons of water; sacks of rice; toiletries; used clothes; canned goods; bottled water; and generator sets. It will be distributed to those residents affected by Typhoon Odette in several parts of the Visayas region and Northern Mindanao. 

NEW PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE CHIEF; LTGEN PAREDES BOWS OUT OF SERVICE

The men and women of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) welcomes MGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF as its 38th Commanding General replacing LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES during the Change of Command and Retirement Ceremony held Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at the PAF Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, with the Secretary of National Defense, Delfin N Lorenzana as Presiding Officer. 

MGEN CANLAS is a proud member of PMA “Makatao” Class of 1989 where he graduated as Cum Laude, ranked number 5, and received the Philippine Constabulary Saber Award. 

AIR FORCE COMPLETES S-70i BLACK HAWK FLEET

The Philippine Air Force successfully held the formal Acceptance, Turn-over, and Blessing of five (5) S-70i Black Hawk helicopters at the Haribon Hangar, Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga on December 03, 2021 with the Secretary of National Defense, Delfin N Lorenzana as Guest of Honor.

Highlights of the activity were the formal turn-over of the aircraft by the Polish Chargé d'affaires Jaroslaw Szczepankiewicz to the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES, followed by the blessing and ceremonial pouring of champagne to the air assets.
