On February 28, 2024, Tactical Operations Wing Western Mindanao (TOWWESTMIN) celebrated its 13th founding anniversary at the Edwin Andrews Air Base Grandstand in Zamboanga City with the Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force, MGEN AUGUSTINE S MALINIT PAF, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
With the theme 'TOWWESTMIN@13: Accelerating with Excellence as Responsive Air Warriors in Conducting Joint Operations for a Better Western Mindanao', the celebration highlighted the unit's collective work and unshakeable commitment to public service over the past years and included the presentation of awards to the Wing's deserving Military and Civilian personnel.
In his remarks, MGEN MALINIT commended TOWWESTMIN's dedication and capability development initiatives, highlighting their significant contributions and support to the military operations in Western Mindanao.
