The Philippine Air Force and Royal Brunei Air Force collaborated on December 7, 2023, for a one-day virtual Subject Matter Expert Exchange focused on Aeromedical Evacuation (AE).

This collaborative effort aims to elevate the capabilities of both air forces in various aspects, including AE and the crew's roles and responsibilities; Rotary wing aircraft configuration and safety; and mass casualty evacuation using fixed-wing aircraft such as C-130 and C-295.

The virtual exchange brought together the two countries’ Flight Surgeons, Flight Nurses, Aeromedical Technicians, Pilots, and crews, fostering knowledge and sharing of best practices.

Further, this initiative represents a significant step in enhancing collective expertise and preparedness for efficient and effective aeromedical operations for both nations.
