As the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is fast-approaching, it is without a doubt a season to be jolly as the Philippine Air Force joined the Simultaneous Decoration Lighting Ceremony today, December 2, 2022, held at Pelagio Park, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
The annual lighting event, simultaneously held in all major AFP camps and bases, is a way of uplifting the Christmas Spirit among AFP personnel and their families.
The Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR, PAF, attended the online mass before the main event, while the Acting Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN STEPHEN P PARREÑO PAF delivered the inspirational message on behalf of the CG, PAF right after the simultaneous lighting ceremony.
Adding color and brightness to the event are the Christmas lights and decorations that adorned the streets and buildings of CJVAB which all add to the joyful mood and Yuletide spirit.
