The Philippine Air Force welcomed the newly promoted PAF Generals and Senior Officers in a Donning of Ranks Ceremony held at the New Hall of Flags, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base on November 14, 2019.
Six (6) General and Senior Officers of the PAF were donned to the ranks of MAJOR GENERAL and BRIGADIER GENERAL with the Vice Commander, PAF MGEN PELAGIO R VALENZUELA AFP as Presiding Officer.
Promoted to the rank of MAJOR GENERAL were BGEN FERDINAND M CARTUJANO AFP, Commander, Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command (AETDC); BGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR AFP, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC); and, BGEN FLORANTE M AMANO AFP, the Air Force Inspector General.
Likewise, promoted to rank of BRIGADIER GENERAL were COL RENE RAOUL ROMMEL DC HONASAN, Wing Commander, 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing; COL PABLO E RUSTRIA, Wing Commander, 250th Presidential Airlift Wing; and COL ARISTOTLE D GONZALES, Wing Commander, Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon.
