The Philippine Air Force conducted the Organization and Activation Ceremony of the Air Installation and Base Development Command (AIBDC) on February 22 2022 at the PAF Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City with the Commanding General, PAF, LTGEN CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR PAF as Presiding Officer.
Meanwhile, the 520th Air Base Wing was reorganized into 520th Air Base Group which will be falling under the command of the Commander, AIBDC.
Highlights of the ceremony were Furling and Casing of Unit Color of 520th Air Base Wing, and Unfurling of the standard of the newly-activated AIBDC.
The activation of AIBDC is part of the realization of the PAF’s Future Structure Program.
