The Philippine Air Force held the Joint Conduct of the Assumption of Command Ceremony of Commander, Air Logistics Command; Relinquishment of Command Ceremony of Wing Commander, Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon; and Donning of Ranks of MGEN DENNIS G ESTRELLA PAF, on May 8, 2024, at Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
MGEN AUGUSTINE S MALINIT PAF, Acting Commanding General of the PAF, presided over the ceremony.
MGEN ESTRELLA, who was also promoted to the two-star rank, relinquished his roles and responsibilities as the Wing Commander of TOWNOL to COL ERIC GACHALIAN PAF as Acting Wing Commander.
Further, MGEN ESTRELLA assumed command of the ALC from BGEN VINCENT INCOGNITO PAF who served in an acting capacity for over one month.
In his remarks, MGEN MALINIT expressed confidence in MGEN ESTRELLA's knowledge and experience gained from managing logistics in his previous designation, making him a perfect fit for Commander of the ALC.
The ALC is responsible in providing logistical support to all Philippine Air Force Units.
