The Philippine Air Force, Edwin Andrews Air Base (EAAB) through the 530th Air Base Wing conducted different Civil Military Operations (CMO) in connection with the upcoming 70th PAF Anniversary which will be held on July 04, 2017at Clark Air Base, Pampanga.
SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM AND ANTI-DRUG SEMINAR
A school Outreach Program and Anti-Drug Campaign Seminar was organized to the students of Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School last June 22 2017 at EAAB, Multi-Purpose Hall, Zamboanga City.
The seminar emphasized on lectures about the Drug Identification and its ill effects, reasons why people tend to use illegal drugs, common signs of drug abuse, salient features of RA 9165, unlawful acts & penalties, science behind drug abuse and addiction, youth Involvement in illegal drugs in the Philippines and RA 9344 (Juvenile Delinquency). A total of 46 Grade 10 students of Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School attended the said activity.
ANNUAL MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAM
A Civic Action (Circumcision) was conducted on May 03, 2017 at Brgy. Guiwan, Zamboanga City. The activity addresses dental health problems and free circumcision with the constituents within the vicinity of the said Barangay.
MEDIA APPEARANCE
The unit also conducted media appearance May 04, 2017 at DXPR 88.3 MHz FM Station at Camp Navarro, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City.
The guesting tackled the upcoming PAF Pre-Anniversary CMO Activities ICOW 70th PAF Anniversary as well as the ongoing Medical Outreach Activities in partnership with Hon. Lilibeth Nuño, City Councilor of the District 2.
DIA DE LAS MU JERES
Female Soldiers of PAFin zamboanga together with Gender and Development (GAD) local Council of Women takes part in the celebration of Dia de las Mujeres 2017.
The event took place last March 08, 2017 with the theme: “We make change work for women” in connection with the Women’s Month celebration.
PAF JOINS THE 80TH DIA DE DELA CIUDAD DE ZAMBOANGA PARADE In connection with the 80th Dia de Dela Ciudad de Zamboanga commemoration, the City Government of Zamboanga invited the Philippine Air Force to participate in the Grand Civic-Military Parade and commemorative program held last February 26, 2017.
TREE PLANTING Officers and Enlisted Personnel of the 530th ABW, 3rd Air Division led the Tree Planting activity in coordination with the Office of the City Environmental Natural Resources (OCENR) last June 15, 2017 at Abong-abong Park, Pasonanca Zamboanga City.
