The Philippine Air Force led by LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES PAF, the Commanding General, together with BGEN STEPHEN P PARREŇO PAF, Air Force Inspector General, welcomed LTGEN FRANCO NEMESIO M GACAL PA, the Inspector General, AFP and his party during the AFP Annual General Inspection Entrance Briefing at the Hall of Flags, Headquarters, Philippine Air Force, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on 19 February 2021.
During the Entrance Briefing, the PAF presented its Mission, Capabilities and Organization, Command’s Major Final Outputs, Strategic Plans, Command Readiness, Financial Performance, Accomplishments vs Target Goals and Actions Taken on AGI Observations CY 2020. Afterwards, a healthy dialogue and discourse ensued during the open forum which focused on of the Command.
More so, LTGEN GACAL PA congratulated the Philippine Air Force for garnering an “EXCELLENT” rating of 99.02%, highest in the whole Armed Forces of the Philippines, in the Calendar Year 2020 Annual General Inspection. The rating manifested the professionalism, relevance, and responsiveness in pursuit of the Command’s mandated mission.
After the Entrance Briefing, the OTIG Inspection Team talked to the PAF Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Civilian Human Resource to accrue the issues and concerns of the PAF Personnel at Agunod Hall, CJVAB, Pasay City.
Appropriate military honors was accorded to The Inspector General, AFP. Likewise, minimum health protocols were strictly observed to ensure the safety of all personnel involved during the activities.
