The Air Power Park was blessed and inaugurated on February 18, 2022 as part of the PMA Alumni Homecoming 2022 Activities in Fort Del Pilar, Baguio City.
The park showcases the capabilities of PAF through a variety of aircraft on static display; this includes SIAI Marchetti AS-211, Cessna T-XMR, McDonnell Douglas MD-520MG Defender, Ling Temco Vough F-8H Crusader, and Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm (BO-105C).
The park honors the heroism of air men and women who dedicated their lives to the Filipino people and served the nation unselfishly.
Likewise, blessing and inauguration of “Archangel Façade” located in front of the Air Force Laboratory was also conducted. The façade showcases the replica of the FA-50PH and S-170i Black Hawk Helicopter, signifying its support to the accomplishment of overall AFP mission.
Meanwhile, the PMAAAI recognized CAV CONNOR ANTHONY D CANLAS SR ’89, with an Outstanding Achievement Award and CAV MARK PAUL E MENDOZA for outstanding performance in air operations.
