To ensure food availability and to support the government in sustaining the production of food supplies amidst the threat of COVID-19, the Philippine Air Force through the PAF Civil-Military Operations Group, 710th Special Operations Wing, and 520th Air Base Wing transported relief goods from the Province of Ifugao to General Trias, Cavite on April 22,
2020.
A total of 10 tons of assorted relief goods composed of rice, vegetables, canned goods, and other supplies were distributed to stranded workers, students, and other beneficiaries by the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Cavite.
The activity was in cooperation with the different stakeholders and Local Government Units in the Province of Ifugao.
Truly, beyond the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon, the PAF will continue to provide support in transporting food and needed supplies for the Filipino people.
