The Philippine Air Force takes the lead and soars as one with the different government and non-government agencies by attending the Intermediate Wound Care Course. This course was composed of 75 military and civilian human resource of the Armed Forces of the Philippines - AFP, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Philippine National Police and other non-military hospitals and teaching institutions such as University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital, St Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City, West Visayas State University, Western Mindanao State University, Talisay District Hospital in Cebu and Palawan Adventist Hospital.
The course was made possible with the expertise of the training officers, chief nurses, derma residents and consultants, pedia neurosurgeons in Medical Corps officers from AFP Medical Center of the mentioned institutions.
This promotes collaboration between the different institutions in the field of education, training, and research to better serve the Filipino people.
