A number of General Officers and Senior Officers from different Philippine Air Force (PAF) air bases gathered to actively participate in this year’s Ceremonial Funshoot in honor of the birthday of the PAF Commanding General, Lieutenant General Edgar R Fallorina AFP, conducted this morning, October 27, 2016, at the PAF Firing Range in Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
The activity kicked-off with a Ceremonial Shoot carried out by Lt Gen Fallorina. Immediately after, the Funshoot commenced with 16 teams composed of 5 members per team. The teams vied for four (4) categories: Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and Team versus Team.
After series of firing activities, Team 1 was hailed as the over-all champion composed of Lt Gen Fallorina, BGen Romeo Dela Cruz AFP, Col Fernyl Buca PAF (GSC), Colonel Vincent Incognito PAF (GSC), and Chief Master Sergeant Nelson Mercado PAF. Other winners are the following:

After the Funshoot, a total of 45 sports merchandise were given away during the raffle.
The activity was highlighted by the presentation of gift and cake to the CG, PAF who will be celebrating his birthday on November 1.
In his remarks, Lt Gen Fallorina commended all the personnel who were behind the success of the Ceremonial Funshoot, especially to the organizers, the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Intelligence, OA-2, headed by Col Banastao, and the Air Force Special Services Group, led by Lt Col Nestor Etis.
Apart from demonstrating their expertise in marksmanship, the Ceremonial Funshoot was a great avenue to promote sportsmanship and strengthen the bond among the Commanders, Chiefs of Office, and Unit heads of the PAF.
