MGEN ALEJANDRO A BACLAYON AFP, Commander, Air Mobility Command, paid a farewell visit last 04 November 2019 to the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing prior to his would-be retirement from the military service. A “talk-to-men” was conducted inside the Base Operations, BGBNEAB, Lapu-Lapu City, where he shared his farewell message to all the men and women of the 205THW.

The room was filled with gratitude as everyone inside paid respect to all the contributions and support of MGEN BACLAYON to the Wing. The 205THW is one of the primary units of the Air Mobility Command, alongside the 220th Airlift Wing, 505th Search and Rescue Group, and the 560th Air Base Group, with MGEN BACLAYON as its Commander. The success of the 205THW is a product of the collaborative effort of the Command and the Wing, as a whole. Without the support of MGEN BACLAYON AFP, the Wing wouldn’t be able to attain all of its accomplishments. In return, the Wing gave a warm welcome and appreciation to the outgoing Commander.

MGEN BACLAYON served as a great leader, as all of the units under AMC prospered and flawlessly performed their respective tasks. His jovial personality and positive outlook radiate to everyone, as each personnel of the Command wholeheartedly and cheerfully took their part in achieving all of its goals. As the father of AMC, he has been a responsible leader who played his role and guided the units under his command into their rightful path. A committed, compassionate, and dedicated officer, MGEN BACLAYON AFP is undoubtedly a great man of honor and leader.
