Trojans hold wing-wide safety meeting for 2018

The 15th Strike Wing "Trojans" through its Wing Safety Office conducted a half-day Safety Orientation to all its on-base officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees on January 25, 2018 at the 15th SW Gymnasium, Sangley Point, Cavite.

Aimed at keeping every Trojan informed on the safety policies of the Wing and Command, the safety orientation consisted of various lectures such as fire safety reminders, workplace safety, and techniques on confined and pinnacle landing operation.

Highlights of the meeting include the sharing of flight safety lessons learned from an OV-10 pilot, safety analytics, and the recognition of units with best safety program.

As the chief of the Wing Safety Office, Major Jose Luis S Del Rosario PAF relayed the Air Force Safety Office Report to the attendees for calendar year 2017.

The Wing Commander, BGen Pelagio R Valenzuela AFP, reminded the Trojans to start the year right by strictly adhering to the safety policies and refrain themselves from being part of the statistics mentioned in the AFSO report.
