New Batch of Air Weapons Controllers Graduates from The Weapons Controller Course

The 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing welcomed the new batch of Air Weapons Controllers of the Philippine Air Force during their Graduation Ceremony last May 21, 2018 at Wallace Air Station, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Twelve (12) Officers coming from various Units of the PAF completed the Academic and Synthetic Phase of the Training facilitated by the 581st Aircraft Control and Warning Group.

"We are unstoppable. With the right way of thinking matched with the right attitude, we can realize the goals of the Philippine Air Force and of the Armed Forces of the Philippines" says BGEN MALINIT AFP, Wing Commander, 580th ACWW.

The ceremony serves as another noble accomplishment that took part as an evident transformation to the Air Defense Sector of the PAF in line with the Flight Plan 2028. These Officers are programmed for reassignment to 580th ACWW and will soon man the PAF's Radar Sites strategically located all over the archipelago.
