As part of the pre-anniversary activities of the Unit, the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing conducted a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-Up with Biking Activity and Fish Feeding spearheaded by the Wing Commander, BRIGADIER GENERAL ERICKSON R GLORIA AFP at Brgy. Sta. Rosa, Olango Island on August 30, 2018.

The event was joined by various stakeholders including the 5TH Air Force Wing Reserve with the Cadets from Indiana Aerospace University, Coast Guard Auxiliary Unit Squadron, City Environmental and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and local Officials of Brgy Sta. The said activity will help in the preservation and rehabilitation of the natural resources of the Island. This will also serve as protection to the community from storms and as a habitat for fishes and other marine life.

The Wing also donated ten (10) trash cans to Brgy. Sta Rosa, Olango to help the community maintain their surroundings clean.
