Meet the New Logistics Chief

02 February 2017

"Leaders win through logistics. Vision, sure. Strategy, yes. But when you go to war, you need to have both toilet paper and bullets at the right place at the right time. In other words, you must win through superior logistics." - Tom Peters One of the most essential yet gruelling aspect of an organization in maintaining its developing competitiveness is logistics management. And in the Philippine Air Force, the senior board of officers has the important task of selecting the most qualified officer to administer the organization's resources.

One of the most qualified officers chosen to replace Colonel Rene Raoul Rommel D Honasan PAF (GSC), as the new Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Logistics (ACofAS), A-4, is Colonel Jesus Nelson B Morales PAF (GSC). Colonel Honasan, who is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) "Sambisig" Class of 1991, has finally relinquished his duties and responsibilities to his successor, Colonel Morales, who belongs to PMA "Maalab" Class of 1993 during the Change of Chief of Office Ceremony conducted on February 01, 2017 at the New Hall of Flags, CJVAB in Pasay City with the PAF Vice Commander, Major General Conrado V Parra Jr, as presiding officer.

Colonel Morales is a seasoned pilot and a well-decorated officer. Prior to his new assignment, he was the Deputy ACofAS for Logistics, A-4; Group Commander of 505th Search and Rescue Group (SRG); Air Task Unit Commander of Joint Task Force Malampaya and many others.
