The local government unit of Floridablanca, Pampanga in collaboration with the different government and non-government agencies of the municipality join as one in controlling the outbreak of COVID-19.

In support of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease and JTF-NCR, and in coordination with the Department of Health, the Philippine Air Force airlifted laboratory specimens from various points in the country on Wednesday morning, March 18, 2020. 

The PAF NC212i #2120 flew to Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Mactan, and Iloilo to pick-up a total of 78 sealed laboratory specimens which will be brought to a testing center in Manila for initial diagnostic testing for COVID-19. 

TOWEastMin conducted an Immune System Enhancement (ISE) Activity to the personnel of TOW EastMin and TOG 11 on 17 March 2020 at the Open Field Area in front of Headquarters TOW EastMin, Davao Air Station, Brgy Sasa, Davao City.

The Personnel of TOWEastMin took advantage of the benefits of sunlight for about 30 mins. They turned sideways in a 5-minute interval so that their bodies are fully covered by a sunlight. They also maintain a social distancing protocol while performing the said activity.

The Tactical Operations Group 11 (TOG 11) personnel (TESDA Trained) formulated 70% ethyl alcohol (with same formula with the alcohol sold commercially). These disinfectants are running out of stock in local pharmacies and stores due to pandemic Corona Virus 2019. Distribution of which is for the consumption of TOWEM personnel in order for them to atleast minimize or control the spread of the bacteria and virus.

Ayon kay MSg Enrique Mallorca PAF, First Sergeant na naatasan sa nasabing aktibidad, inilipat sa Material Recovery Facility (MRF) ang ibang kagamitan na hindi kailangan sa carpentry facility tulad ng mga basag na salamin, mga tumigas na sako ng semento at mga putol-putol na kahoy.

The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), HON. MARK A VILLAR paid a visit to Basa Air Base to witness firsthand the improvements of the Philippine Air Force's Fighter Base on 06 March 2020 and led the DND-DPWH Convergence Meeting. Ayon kay A1C Giljor Ligutom PAF, isa sa mga HEE operator, dahil sa kanilang dedikasyon sa trabaho ay nagawa nilang tapusin ang naturang proyekto ng mas maaga sa itinakdang palugit na inaasahang matatapos sa ika-13 ng Marso taong 2020.

Nagsagawa ng Ocular Inspection ngayong araw, ika-lima ng Marso taong kasalukuyan sa barangay Mawacat sa Floridablanca, Pampanga na pinamumunuan ni Brgy Captain Marilo Bacani, isang IP Comunity, ang mga representative galing sa Rotary Club of Greater Floridablanca, Municipal Engineering Office ng bayan ng Floridablanca, 355th Aviation Engineer Wing, 5th Fighter Wing, PNP, NCIP para sa isasagawang pagsasaayos ng kalsada na may habang 5 kilomentro para mailabas ang mga agricultural produce ng nasabing barangay.

Forty-three (43) Regular Officers, Reserve Officers, and Technical Administrative Officers (Regular and Reserve) of the Philippine Air Force were donned to the next higher rank in a Donning of Ranks Ceremony held at the PAF Multi-Purpose Gymnasium on March 03, 2020, with the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force MGEN ALLEN T PAREDES AFP as presiding officer.

With the theme “Taking off as LEAD ONE Air Sentinel for Security and Development in the Western Frontier”, the Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Wing West successfully celebrated its forty-seven glorious years of dedicated service on March 02, 2020 at Antonio Bautista Air Base, Puerto Princesa City with the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, MGEN ALLEN T PAREDES AFP as the guest of honor.

The Philippine Air Force has deployed three (3) AS-211 Aircraft for Maritime Air Patrol (MARPAT) in the Western Command's Joint Area of Operation on 24 February 2020.

Said air assets, that will be based at Tactical Operations Wing West, Antonio Bautista Air Base, will enhance the operational tempo of WESCOM in securing the territorial integrity of the country in the West Philippine Sea as well as the Malampaya Deep Water Gas to Power Project.
