The Philippine Air Force C-295 aircraft transported the 505th Search and Rescue Group personnel and equipment for the conduct of Water Search and Rescue operations to flooded and trapped families in Cagayan Valley on November 14, 2020.
Likewise, Two (2) Bell-412 aircraft from the 207th Tactical Helicopter Squadron were utilized by the 505th SRG for the conduct of aerial rescue to areas experiencing massive flooding in Cagayan River due to the continuous upsurge of water in Magat Dam in Isabela.
Equipment onboard the aircraft were composed of spine board, narkit, rope ladder, life vest, bouycan, kernmantle, carabs, pulley, flat web or the utility rope, helmet, short prussic, and assorted Personal Protective Equipment.
