On October 10, 2023, the highly anticipated Philippine Uniformed Services Olympics kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony that celebrated sportsmanship and the competitive spirit among the country's uniformed personnel. The event took place at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand in Camp Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City with General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., PA, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines as the presiding officer.
This Olympics will be participated in by personnel from various services, including the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Philippine National Police, and Bureau of Fire Protection, .
As the Olympic torch was lit, symbolizing the start of the games, the members of the PAF stood tall, poised to compete and demonstrate their skills in various sporting events. From basketball and volleyball to track and field, the Air Force athletes showcased their prowess and determination to excel in their respective disciplines.
