The Tactical Operations Group 3, lead by its Group Commander, LTC PERFECTO R MAGALONG JR PAF (GSC) participates the All Filipino Philippine Rise 2018 on May15, 2018 with the Commander-in-Chief, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as the guest of honor and speaker. The Group Commander, TOG3 acted as the Over-all Air Mission Commander during the said event.
The Philippine Rise 2018, is a National historical event, wherein PPRD signed a presidential proclamation declaring parts of the Philippine Rise as a Marine protected area. More than 500 participants, including Filipino Scientist and students, who came from the different sectors has participated the said historical event. The event send-off ceremony was held at Casiguran Bay and the participant's sails to the Philippine Rise following the same day.
