The Philippine Air Force (PAF) Day Care Center (DCC) has achieved a five (5)-Star or Level 3 Accreditation from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during the inspection and evaluation conducted on September 29, 2016, making it a Center for Excellence.

The Level 3 Accreditation, which is the highest standard, indicates that the PAFDCC has received an outstanding rating in its facility. It has proven its commitment to provide quality day care services through well-planned developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) delivered by its competent day care teachers and staff in a safe, and children-friendly educational facilities with strong support from the parents and the community.

The PAFDCC is one of the services that the 520th Air Base Wing provides. The center, which caters to the holistic development of the PAF personnel’s dependents, provides children with fun learning experiences. It also aims to mold children with proper values and prepares them to higher level of education.

Meanwhile, the center commemorated its 7th Founding Anniversary on September 20, 2016, with the theme, “Family where life begins and love never ends,” with Brigadier General Emigdio D Guevara Jr AFP, as Guest of Honor. It was celebrated together with the teachers, staff, parents, and their children. The activity aimed at promoting the value of quality time between the parents and their children through various fun games and family bonding activities.
