PAF Peacekeepers In Haiti Celebrated 8th Month Deployment With Community Service

The 19th Philippine Contingent to Haiti (PCH) headed by COL VINCENT B INCOGNITO PAF (GSC) celebrated its 8th month of deployment at Haiti by conducting Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activity in coordination with Baptist Church Haiti and MANNA Worldwide, a Christian organization that focuses on caring for impoverished children around the world at Canaan, Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti last March 17, 2016.

Activity includes medical mission and feeding program that benefited 300 indigent families in the area.

CIMIC activity is a monthly activity of PCH in adherence to the key principles of humanity and impartiality in the pursuance of humanitarian mandate and addressing human suffering.

CIMIC is a military function that is an integral part of modern multidimensional operations, addresses all cooperating parties within a conflict situation and facilitates mutual support of civilian capabilities to military forces and vice versa.
