The Philippine Air Force (PAF) participated in the only tri-service defense and security exhibition that addresses the specific requirements of the Armed Forces, National Police and Security Agencies in the Philippines from September 26 to 28, 2018 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
ADAS 2018 gathered together over 200 leading domestic and international exhibitors represented the full spectrum of defense, homeland security, and disaster relief industries.
The PAF set up display booths and prepared audio visual presentations of selected PAF units/offices. The 505th Search and Rescue Group (SRG) presented its Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment while the Air Defense Wing (ADW) provided a mock-up simulator.
Strategic audio visual presentations of different PAF units, as well as photo displays of the Air Force Public Affairs Office, aircraft miniature by the Air Force Strategic Management Office and tarpaulin standees from the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Civil Military Operations were also shown. Likewise, the 710th Special Operations Wing also displayed its capability equipment during the exhibit.
More so, one of the key highlights of ADAS 2018 is the large presence of VIP Delegates from different countries, high-ranking Government officials, Chiefs of Defense and Armed Services, National Police Chiefs, Coast Guard Commanders, Commandants of Civil Defense Forces, Heads of Logistics Commands, System Evaluators and procurers.
This year's exhibit was also participated in by other exhibitors from USA, China, France, Czech Republic, Malaysia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Belarus and many more.
The ADAS 2018 was organized by APAC Expo Pte Ltd that aimed to gather defense and security companies, as well as, experts around the globe to showcase the latest state-of-the-art defense, security, and disaster management products and services applicable to the modernization and upgrade plan for the AFP, PNP, PCG, OTS, DOTr and OCD.
