While the government is working on and collaborates with foreign countries in the research for the cure of COVID-19, the less we can do for now is to practice good hygiene routine. One of which is the practice of hand washing and the use of disinfectants like alcohol is very essential.

With this, the TESDA trained personnel of Tactical Operations Group 11 (TOG 11), Philippine Air Force under the leadership of LTC FLORANTE S BATERINA PAF (GSC) formulated a 70% ethyl alcohol with the same formula with those available commercially on March 14, 2020.

Likewise, TOG 11 was able to come up with a new product which they called anti-nCov Hand Sanitizer. Formulated alcohol and hand sanitizers were distributed to the personnel of Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao.

This is to ensure that the PAF personnel are physically fit to deliver its mandated mission as well as to help combat and control the spread of bacteria and viruses especially to the personnel who are in the frontlines.
