PAF FORMALLY OPENS BASIC INTEGRATED COMMAND AND CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND CYBER SYSTEMS CLASS

The Philippine Air Force, through the Office of Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Communications (OA-6), formally opened the Basic Integrated Command and Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems Class 01 in a simple Opening Ceremony held via Google Meet with the Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force MGEN PELAGIO R VALENZUELA PAF as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on August 10, 2020. 

A total of 20 officers from different PAF units will undergo the said course which is aimed to equip the PAF Officers the basic knowledge in supporting the Command and Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems (C4S) as they fill up the workforce of the PAF IC4S. 

The course will also enable the Officers to comprehend the application of cybersecurity operations to support the Command's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, which are all integrated to support and link with the existing PAF Core Systems.

Moreover, the 950th Communication, Electronics, and Information System Group developed the PAF Learning Management System which will be used by the students, training staff, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during the course. 

During the ceremony, COL OLIVER A BANARIA PAF (GSC), Group Commander, 950th CEISG, formally opened the course. Subsequently followed by the presentation of students and the Students' Pledge of Honor. 

The course will tentatively conclude on December 23, 2020.
