The Philippine Air Force deserving Units and individuals for CY-2015 were given awards after a special flag raising ceremony last June 22, 2015 at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
This is in connection with the annual celebration of the PAF’s Anniversary. Other Units and individual awardees will be recognized during the 68th Founding Anniversary with His Excellency Benigno S Aquino III as the Guest of Honor on July 1, 2015 at Clark Air Base, Pampanga.
Awardees after the said special flag raising ceremony were the following:
Squadron of the Year (Tactical Category)- 207th Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 205th THW
Squadron of the Year (Support Category)- 471st Field Maintenance Squadron, 220thAW
PAF Reserve Group of the Year- 13th Air Force Reserve Group
PAF Ready Reserve DAST of the Year- 234th DAST Saint Louis College
PAF Reservist Officer of the Year- CPT ROMEL DAVID CANLAS
PAF Reservist Enlisted Personnel of the Year- MSg Arseñito B Colaba
PAF ROTC Cadet of the Year- C/Col James M Reduban, 1st CL
PAF ROTC Cadette of the Year- C/Lt Col Kristine Charlotte M Sison, 2nd CL
PAF Flight Safety Award for Individual Category- MAJ GILBERT T PALECPEC PAF
PAF Flight Safety Award for Squadron Category- 252nd Presidential Airlift Squadron
The Philippine Air Force Flight Safety Trophy were presented to 17th Attack Squadron, 20th Attack Squadron, 207th Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 208th Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 210th Tactical Training Squadron, 221st Attack Squadron, 222nd Attack Squadron, 223rd Attack Squadron, 251st Presidential Airlift Squadron, 252nd Presidential Airlift Squadron and 7th Tactical Fighters Squadron and 15th Strike Wing was also awarded for winning the Search and Rescue Challenge held last June 16-18 2015 at Fernando Air Base and Calaca, Batangas.
Air Force Commanding General LT GEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP presented the awards and assisted by the Chief of Air Staff for Personnel, A-1, COL GLICERIO G PERALTA GSC (PAF).
Every year the PAF recognizes the outstanding individuals, groups and units who have contributed to the over-all accomplishments of the Command.
