The successful conduct of the Web-Based Seminar (Webinar) facilitated the Learning and Development (L&D) Program for the PAF Civ HR is another milestone achieved by the Civilian Human Resource (Civ HR) Training Branch under the supervision of MAJOR ANGELO S PATRON PAF, Director for Individual Training, OA-8, from the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Education and Training, A-8 headed by COL JOSE JOHNSON T GRAYDA PAF (MNSA).
The webinars were created and conducted in order to continue in delivering the mandate and the required L&D for the PAF Civ HR despite of the pandemic outbreak. The first webinar was the Civilian Human Resource Orientation which developed the new entrants’ commitment to public service and informed new PAF Civilian Human Resources about the PAF programs, thrust, operations, and benefits.
This was held last 22-26 June 2020 participated by 18 Civ HRs assigned to the different PAF Bases. The effective facilitation of the Orientation Webinar was followed by the conduct of the Personal Enhancement for Effective Public Service (PEEPS) Webinar which was held last 27-31 July 2020.
The PEEPS Webinar enhanced the PAF Civilian Human Resource performance for effective Public Service and this was participated by 30 Civ HRs assigned to the different PAF units. These two (2) Webinars were the initial efforts to innovate, to improve the delivery of the L&D for PAF Civilian Human Resource and to adapt the new normal.
