The Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft ferried fabrics for the Department of Trade and Industry from Xiamen International Airport, China to Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on May 2, 2020.
A total of 334 rolls of fabric (11,256kgs) will be used to locally manufacture Personal Protective Equipment for the frontliners.
PAF medical teams and the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosives personnel from 710th Special Operations Wing were present during the arrival of the PAF C-130, ensuring that all cargoes and personnel in the said underwent preventive disinfection and decontamination process.
The PAF pilots and crew dedicated all their skills and efforts to ensure that the much needed medical supplies and other essential equipment are successfully transported. Undoubtedly, their sacrifices are clear manifestation that the welfare of the Filipino people is their first priority in support to the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
