IN PHOTOS: Military honors were given to 8 of the 11 Army soldiers who died in Sulu upon arrival at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on April 18, 2020.
The military honors were led by the Secretary of the National Defense, Delfin N Lorenzana; AFP Chief of Staff GEN FELIMON T SANTOS JR AFP; Commanding General, Philippine Army LTGEN GILBERT GAPAY AFP; and, Commanding General, Philippine Air Force LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES AFP.
Departure honors were also given to the fallen heroes by Western Mindanao Commander, LTGEN CIRILITO SOBEJANA AFP at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Zamboanga City.
The fallen heroes were airlifted by two (2) PAF C-295 aircraft.
