After serving for almost 38 years in the service, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, J8, MGEN MANUEL F REMOTIGUE PAF, rendered his retirement call to the Commanding General PAF, LTGEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP, last August 28, 2015 at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City. Prior to the call, an appropriate honor was accorded to MGEN REMOTIGUE upon his arrival at the HPAF Quadrangle with the Commanding General as the military host.
Aside from his present position as the J8, he previously held post as Deputy Commander of 2nd Air Division; Wing Commander and Deputy Wing Commander of Air Defense Wing; Provost Marshal of OAFPM and many others.
MGEN REMOTIGUE also received various awards and commendations for his valuable service such as Awards of Distinguished Service Star for his meritorious and valuable service rendered in a position of major responsibility as Wing Commander of Air Defense Wing of the PAF, three MMM with two bronze spearhead device and many others.
MGEN REMOTIGUE was also a fighter pilot and a member of Philippine Military Academy “Dimalupig” class of 1981. He will compulsorily retire from the active military service on September 3, 2015.
