Indonesian Air Force Commander And Staff College Visits The PAF

In order to strengthen the bilateral relationships between the Indonesian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Seskoau or the Indonesian Air Force Commander and Staff College (CSC) A-53 2016 of the Republic of Indonesia visited the Philippine Air Force on September 14, 2016 as part of the CSC’s curriculum.

The PAF accorded the delegation with arrival honors at the HPAF Quadrangle, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base in Pasay City with the Deputy Wing Commander of the 520th Air Base Wing, Colonel Fernyl G Buca PAF (GSC), as military host. Immediately after, the delegation paid courtesy call on the Chief of Air Staff, Major General Rozzano D Briguez AFP.

The purpose of the visit is to develop the ability and knowledge of the Seskoau students on the international and regional matters, analyze the national strategy and policy, especially, in the aspect of aerostrategy, and comprehend the Philippine policy in addressing the issue in the South China Sea conflict.

The three (3)-day engagement, which began on September 13, will include a visit in the following areas: Headquarters of 1st Air Division, 7th Tactical Fighter Squadron of Air the Defense Wing, AFP Command and General Staff College, and Manila American Cemetery.
