Human Rights Forum At AETC

The Air Force Human Rights Office (AFHRO) conducted a Human Rights Forum on June 18, 2015 at the Air Education and Training Command, Lipa City, Batangas.

The forum aims to reinvigorate the commitment of the students, instructors and military personnel of AETC who are the pillars on education and training of the Air Force. It was co-sponsored by AETC and AFHRO in coordination with AFP HRO and CHR Region IV. COL JOSE ANTONIO CARLOS B MOTRIL INF (GSC) PA, Chief, AFP HRO and Atty Jacqueline Ann C De Guia, OIC CHR Region IV were the invited Resource Speakers who talked on the topics “Status of Human Rights in the views of the AFP” and “Status of Human Rights in the views of CHR”, respectively.

The activity was attended by more or less One Hundred Eighty (180) personnel from Military Training Instructors, Tactical Officers, students and all available Officers and Enlisted Personnel of AETC at the Bulwagang Makulot, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City.

Commander, AETC, MGEN SALVADOR MELCHOR B MISSON JR AFP was also present during the event and awarded a plaque of appreciation to the resource speakers together with the Deputy Commander, AETC and Chief, AFHRO.
