The remains of Captain Christian Paul T Litan PAF and A1C Joseph C De Leon PAF, who died in the UH-1D Helicopter crash on May 4, 2017 in Tanay, Rizal, have been finally transported from Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City back to their homes today. Utilizing the air assets of the Philippine Air Force, the body of Captain Litan was airlifted back to Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas at 1:35 p.m. utilizing the Bell CUH Chopper with tail number 6693 while that of A1C De Leon was brought to Lingayen, Pangasinan by the same chopper with tail number 6695 at 1:36 p.m. Meanwhile, the remains of SSg Byron T Tolosa PAF lies in his home in Barangay Villamor, Pasay City.
To honor the airmen, the PAF accorded them with honors.
