COLONEL PARREÑO SETS IN AS NEW WING COMMANDER OF 220th AW REPLACING BGEN PARILLA

Personnel of the 220th Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force welcomed its new Wing Commander, Colonel Stephen P Parreño PAF (GSC), who replaced Brigadier General Nicolas C Parilla AFP during the Change of Command Ceremony held at Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-lapu City, Mactan on July 7, 2017.

The occasion was graced by the PAF Commanding General, Lieutenant General Edgar R Fallorina AFP, who served as the Guest of Honor.

The event was highlighted by the presentation of award, reading of relief and designation orders, and hand-over of Unit Color, which signifies that Brigadier General Parilla has relinquished his position to Colonel Parreño, his former Deputy Wing Commander.

Immediately after, both the outgoing and incoming Wing Commanders delivered their remarks. It was then followed by the message of the Lieutenant General Fallorina.

As the outgoing Wing Commander, Brigadier General Parilla will be taking his new post as the new Deputy Commander of 2nd Air Division.
